Hip-Hop drum beats differ in style a lot. I’d recommend listening to whatever style you’re going for and paying attention to the beats. Don’t straight-up copy what you hear, but try to base something new off of it. Your drum samples are obviously really important, too.
All these sound more like synthesizers than authentic strings.
I eventually downloaded Section Strings, and discovered that it sounds better than any of the free Sonatina Symphony Orchestra string samples. Until I find something better, Section Strings will be my default choice.

Some great suggestions here I recently wrote an article about free harp VSTs and sample libraries and One VST I found particularly useful for creating harp sounds is Etherealwinds Harp II (the Communtiy Edition is free). I also found that DSK has other stringed instruments in their arsenal as well (some guitars, for example).
